I want to send a big thank you to all of the NLPOA members who came out last night to support the Denver Police Officers Foundation at the Officers Ball. The NLPOA was well represented at this important event. I want to especially thank board member Ken Chavez who did a great job as the Master of Ceremony. I would also like to recognize Deputy Chief Nagle (NLPOA member) who hosted. I would also like to thank Denver DA Morrasey (great supporter of the NLPOA) for supporting the officers by attending.
Our table was full and we had many many more members in attendance.
Thank You!!! Chief Nagle.

This was a donation given today on behalf of the Denver chapter of the NLPOA to Rosalinda cafe. They close their business for several’days before thanksgiving in order to cook and feed the poor. This tradition started in 1986 when the restaurant was new and struggling to keep the doors open. The owner asked God to help them through the tough time and in return, they would feed the poor during Thanksgiving, a promise that they have kept for many years. The restaruant has flurished with the gentrification of North Denver and new energy in the neighborhood. This donation is but a token and the least that the Denver chapter can do to support their important promise.
