The Coachella Valley Chapter of the National Latino Peace Officers Association presented a scholarship this evening to Jeremy De La Cruz. Jeremy completed modules 2 and 3 at College of the Desert’s Public Safety Academy. Next month Jeremy will begin module 1 at the Riverside County Sheriff’s training center, putting him within six months of being a sworn peace officer. Best of luck Jeremy.
