It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of Retired Deputy Richard Estrada Jr.,EOW June 24th, 2024. Richard started with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on June 15th, 1981 and retired on January 7th, 2007 after serving as a Deputy at the Scientific Services Bureau with the LASD.
Richard was a military veteran of both the US Army and the US Air Force and most notably served as the President of the NLPOA San Bernardino/Riverside Chapter. Richard was also a Founder and later president of the NLPOA inland Empire Chapter in California.
