NLPOA Central Valley at the Southern California conference.
Last week the NLPOA Central Valley Chapter hosted a informational conference at the Southern California Edison Facilities in Tulare, California. The presenters addressed the issues of Sex Trafficking and the Abuse of Latina Women. These two crimes are wide spread and affect the lives of women as well as families. Several of the presenters where victims of Sex Trafficking others were abused as children.
Ms. Virginia Isais is the founder of Sobrevivientes De Trafico Humano, Santa Ana, California. The second presenter was Ms. Yolanda Calderon and a member of the NLPOA Inland Empire Chapter and Founder of CONPAZ a womens organization addressing abused women’s issues. Also speaking at the conference was California Highway Patrol (CHP) Officer Grabiela Santillan.
