NLPOA raises thousands for Puerto Rico

NLPOA members raised money to send over to our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico that suffered great losses due to Hurricane Maria. This was known to be the worst storm to hit Puerto Rico in over eighty years. Local members from the Alameda County Chapter are commended for their sacrifice, generosity and caring. Carlos Ruiz, Steve Fajardo, Tai Pena-Hornung made the trip to Puerto Rico on their own with the assistance of a “go-fund” account, personal and member donations and their sheer tenacity. They visited multiple locations and made contact with officers and commanders alike to provide comfort, some t-shirts and support from the NLPOA. Thank you for a job well done!
