The National Latino Peace Officers Association would like to pay tribute to the men and women of the United States Military on this Veterans Day.

This year we are honoring Mr. Salvador Vargas, Mr. Vargas is 96 years old and currently living in Las Vegas Nevada. He served in the United States Navy from 1942 – 1946 aboard the USS Hugh W. Hadley in the South China Sea during World War II. His generation, also known as the greatest generation on earth, helped pave the way for the rest of us. Mr.Salvador Vargas, we thank you for your service.
